Pirated CD copies - We wish to watch on Cinema Hall
April 28, 2008 by Aminul Islam Sajib
In our country, most of the people like Hindi cinema very much. Our film industries still cannot make better movie. Reels, Stunts nothing is well. Some countable movies released from Impressed Telefilm can be remarked as nice. I would state here the name of these movies released from Bangladesh particularly Impress Telefilm.
- Daruchini Deep
- Joyjatra
- Shyamol Chaya
- Nirontor (Oscar nominated)
- Hazar bochor dhore
- Molla barir bou
- Lal Sobuj
and some more…
Indian films are worldwide preferred. Indian people are really lucky. Indian films are in second position in world movies. You know, at first, Hollywood makes high-budgeted movies. Then Bollywood. Bollywood means the movie that releases from India. So Indian people can watch those movies inside the Cinema Hall. In Bangladesh, we can buy the CDs of hindi movies. But almost all of them are pirated. Original movie-disk is much rare. We can’t find original movie-disk available at market. Yes, we can purchase the movie One Two Three — recently released from bollywood. But indians know that the movie industry hasn’t published its CD or DVD yet. So it is very obvious that these CDs, which are available at Bangladeshi markets, are original pirated!
South Asia’s largest shopping mall is named Boshundhara City. It has two or maybe three cinema halls named Star Cineplex. Some popular Bangla & English/International movies are shown on these halls. Besides of Star Cineplex, Balaka is another most popular cinema hall which is situated at the capital’s New Market area. But Balaka doesn’t show any Hindi movie too. So we have nothing to do but purchasing pirated copies of these hindi movies.
I think these hall-authorities must begin showing Hindi Films. (If the act is possible. It is Bangladesh, most of the acts are very impossible here in this country!)

Bangladeshis are actually improving in making movies, probashi Bangladeshis can make better movies than the directors of Bangladesh. Once the probashis bring their movies back to Bangladesh then the real competition of making high-budget movies will start since Bangladeshis movies are pathetic.
